Bio Desaru enjoys a geographical advantage being located within the Growth Corridor of Johor as well as being in close proximity to the bustling City of Singapore.
As the only large scale agricultural hub in Johor, Bio Desaru will enjoy ready markets for its agro-produce and eco-tourism attractions.

♦ Senai-Desaru Expressway (SDE)
This 77km Expressway is currently under construction and is scheduled to be completed early next year. The SDE will connect Senai to Desaru. It will also be an alternate route to Desaru Beach from Johor Bahru and Singapore.
The four-lane dual carriageway will become the main access road to Desaru from North-South Expressway Southern Route E2 and major road link to Senai International Airport from Kota Tinggi and eastern parts of Johor.
♦ Port of Tanjung Pelepas & Pasir Gudang
The Port of Tanjung Pelepas is a first class Transshipment and Logistic Hub. It is Malaysia’s biggest transshipment and one of the fastest growing ports in the world, whereas the Pasir Gudang Port serves as a deep sea container facility.
♦ Ferry services
There are four sailing a day between Changi Ferry Terminal in Singapore and Tanjung Belungkor Ferry Terminal in Johor. The journey takes only 25 minutes and the ferry has capacity for 200 passengers at any one time. Land transfer from Tanjung Belungkor to Desaru takes about 30 minutes.
♦ Senai Internatioal Airport
A comprehensive master plan to transform Senai International Airport into a Regional Logistic Hub is underway. This will undoubtedly boost the flow of visitors into Johor and Desaru.
